It’s an eat or be eaten world in this hit MMO game Mope.io. The game is a food chain/tier-based system, where you start out on the bottom tier and gain experience points by eating food items to level up to the next tier, or animal upgrade. Animals on lower tiers outlined in light green can be eaten, while animals on higher tiers outlined in red can eat you. The exception to this is the “tail bite”, which allows predators to be bitten or even killed by prey animals, making it important to watch your tail.

It’s also important to stay hydrated, using the blue dots or by entering water/mud. The animal can be sped up to run from predators or chase pray, but this uses more water. Animals can also hide in holes placed throughout the board or dive underwater.

The game has changed much since initial release in Oct. 2016, with many new animals added as well as ocean+arctic biomes and special animal abilities.

Join the board using the [TB] tag and I’ll know you’re friendly; in addition, your animal will show any applicable exclusive [TB] skins on-stream!
