Introducing the new STIHL KMA 135 R cordless Kombi engine, a powerful but lightweight tool that gives you the flexibility you need to get a large variety of jobs done with just one powerhead.
The KMA 135 R is designed to be used with many different STIHL KombiTool attachments such as the leaf blower, hedge trimmer, grass trimmer and pole pruner, plus many more. It is quiet but powerful, so it’s ideal for use in noise-sensitive areas as you do not need to wear ear defenders.
This new cordless Kombi Engine is part of the STIHL AP System of battery tools, and has a battery slot which can be used in conjunction with any of our AP batteries, making it a really flexible tool. If you need longer run times, it can also be used with an adaptor and our AR backpack batteries too.

The STIHL KMA 135 R has an ergonomic control handle with infinitely variable speed adjustment so you can adjust the power to the task at hand, or reduce power to conserve battery life. An LED display lets you see at a glance which level the machine is set to. It also has a metal mesh air filter for long service life and optimum motor cooling.
The KMA 135 R cordless KombiEngine is set up to be easily used with our new STIHL Smart connectors designed for tools with a connector slot (as displayed in the video). This way, the STIHL Smart connector fits neatly into the tool housing.
This cordless KombiEngine and attachments are all built to be used in the rain, which is particularly useful in our unpredictable British climate.
