 STIHL is taking a major step forward with the launch of its new ALLPRO 40V MAX Battery System, designed specifically for professional users who demand more power, faster charging, and longer battery life. The new system uses advanced tabless lithium-ion cell technology, which reduces heat buildup and electrical resistance, delivering up to 60% more peak power, more consistent performance throughout the discharge cycle, and significantly improved efficiency. One of the biggest breakthroughs is the AL 1602 MO ultra-rapid charger, capable of charging compatible ALLPRO batteries to 80% in as little as 10 minutes, minimizing downtime on the jobsite. The batteries are rated for up to 3,000 charge cycles, feature IPX5 weather resistance for reliable operation in wet conditions, and remain fully compatible with STIHL’s existing AP System tools, allowing professionals to upgrade without replacing their current equipment. The lineup includes the AP 100 P (111 Wh, 2.0 lbs, 1.5 kW max output), AP 200 P (222 Wh, 3.1 lbs, 2.8 kW), and AP 300 P C (333 Wh, 4.2 lbs, 4.0 kW), along with new charging solutions including the AL 1602 MO ultra-rapid charger, AL 301-4 multi-charger, CM 6 ProPower Hub Mobile, and PS 2000 Power Station for charging multiple batteries on or off the grid.
