RedlineTimber | Stihl 500i wedging trees with back lean - using wedges on smaller diameter trees @redlinetimber | Uploaded 1 year ago | Updated 2 hours ago
Directional felling trees against their natural lean using wedge pockets. Advanced falling techniques for leaning small diameter trees when there's no room to follow the saw with wedges. Utilizing a Double Backcut technique creates room for wedge(s) to support and lift the tree while finishing the second half or other parts of the final cut(s). This also minimizes stress on the hinge-wood.. :)
