Now, this was the most challenging scene I have yet to score. I'm not used to scoring action scenes compared to conversational scenes. But, though I was stressed doing this as time become more and more pressured to get it done in time, I greatly enjoyed scoring this action filled scene. And for the first time I got to score the whole scene to complete animation, so I could really see clearly what was going in and that helps a lot to get the music right as well.
Well, to be fair, from 0:00 to 2:45 I had storyboarding to look at, which is good and helpful, but having the full animation and visuals just helps on a whole other level. And from 2:45 and into Part 2 of the fight I had that and it was magnificent.
