Sometimes things happen in life that get us down. Work can wear us down, or perhaps someone was being particularly harsh today. Maybe we don't have anyone to talk to, or just tend to internalize our feelings. Either way sometimes the best solution is to take a moment and just relax. Find a quiet corner somewhere, grab some headphones, and just spend a few minutes with some chill music. Or blast it over some speakers, if you want to. You do you. At the end of the day, what matters is that you got through today. And you can get through tomorrow too. But don't worry about that for now. Just chill.

This one took quite a few iterations to get where I wanted it to be. I wanted X2 to feel a bit more gritty than X1, largely because X is flying solo through most of the game. In X1 Zero is around to push him forwards and fight along side, but once you get to X2 X is trying to form a squad of normal hunters and they cant keep up. The end result is that between games Xs squad is doing strategic strikes on maverick bases and X is the only one that can consistently make it through (RIP green biker dude).
Or at least, thats my interpretation. Most of that isnt actually talked about in game.
