Look at you, hacker. STG artist Pat here, playing System Shock 2 today. SS2 came out in 1999 and was largely overlooked, but its influence on gaming would stretch far and wide for years to come. In my opinion, none of its imitators have ever topped what Ken Levine and his team did with this game, under intense deadlines and technical constraints. This is a game I replay probably once a year. A hidden gem, and one of my most treasured gaming experiences.
