In spite of what many Trump haters think, Trump supporters are not stupid, idiots or heartless. But they are certainly, in my opinion, misguided. The idea that they have become members of the Trump cult explains a lot.
I interview Steven Hassan, author of The Cult of Trump. He discusses characteristics of cult leaders and followers, what makes people vulnerable to be recruited into cults and how to deal with cult members.
