Steven Davis is the Thomas W. and Susan B. Ford Senior Fellow at the Hoover Institution and Senior Fellow at Stanford’s Institute for Economic Policy Research. He spent 35 years at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, serving as deputy dean. Davis co-created the Economic Policy Uncertainty Indices and the Asian Monetary Policy Forum, among other initiatives, and advises the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta and the Monetary Authority of Singapore. He hosts Economics, Applied (hoover.org/podcasts/economics-applied) – a video podcast series sponsored by the Hoover Institution.
Jon Hartley is a Research Assistant at the Hoover Institution and PhD candidate at Stanford, focusing on finance and macroeconomics. He has worked at Goldman Sachs, the World Bank, and the Federal Reserve.
