Steve answers his previous question about how we deal with the violence of God in the Old Testament, in light of the pacifist Jesus. While he agrees with Greg Boyd in many ways, he does not feel the need to hold on to inspiration of all Scripture in the same way and is more comfortable with dismissing these violent texts if Jesus himself dismissed them.
