Stephen and the Colberts' "Charlene" for you!
Okay, so this is how it goes. The video was recorded at Parallel LLC's office, the place Max and I work at. We used Garage Band to record all the audio tracks separately. The drum, bass, vocals, and one of the synth tracks were from the default selection that Garage Band offers. The other synth tracks were created on Max's synthesizer.
Also, the video was recorded separate from the audio. We then just recorded it and synced everything up so you could see the main parts of the song (synth/bass/"solo") being played. We used iMovie to consolidate everything and to export the final product.
As for the vocals, well hmm... lol. The lyrics are what make the song, so we had to take a gander and go for it. We know they're not good, but we hope you don't find them god awful. Neither of us have ever taken any form of vocal lessons (obviously) but hey, "A" for effort. :-P Stephen Colbert is worth the YouTube embarrassment.
