ESPN’s lead on-air talent Stephen A. Smith, who also serves as executive producer of First Take, made a podcast appearance alongside NBA champions and co-hosts Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart of the New York Knicks who dismantled Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs in five games. The pair also won the NCAA tournament in college with the Villanova Wildcats. Smith and fellow sports analyst Skip Bayless agreed that team would produce no real NBA talent. Not only did they win the Larry O’Brien Trophy but Brunson was MVP. Thus, Smith was booed heavily.
