Buildings built before 1900 that have worn out exteriors constantly have newer stairs that go UP to the first floor. At Yates Center Kanas not only is the first floor up in the air but the entire town square has alterations that point to a mudflood cover up. In the center is the grand "courthouse" that along with the other buildings have buried windows and a cornerstone showing who is responsible for the building(s).
