Friday Night Funkin' is a Newgrounds rhythm game made using HaxeFlixel and originally created for Ludum Dare 47 by ninjamuffin99, Kawai Sprite, PhantomArcade and evilsk8r. The plot of the game centers around Boyfriend trying to hook up with Girlfriend, but her ex-rockstar father, Daddy Dearest, and her popstar mother, Mommy Mearest, don't approve of him. It's up to Boyfriend to rap battle his way through them and anyone else standing in his way so that he can finally get freaky!
Step It Up a Notch is a song composed by RaccStarLogan. Originally drafted around May of 2021, this song has gone through many revisions, a few ending up on their archival SoundCloud account. At first, the structure of the song was based off of the song Blammed from Friday Night Funkin', before eventually evolving into its own song. This song was originally intended to be part of a FNF mod that went through many name changes, first being called "FNF - Vs. Logan", before being renamed to "FNF - Vs. Raccoon" and then later "FNF - Nullified". Around the middle of 2024, the whole FNF Nullified project was discontinued due to many factors.
