Hi All!
I hope you've been enjoying this stencil making series! I know I've been having a blast creating this content for you. In this video I'll share the gel prints I made after cutting the stencils from our previous video. I've also gone ahead and cut the stencils I'll be using for this new tutorial so you'll be able to see what we'll be working on later in Cricut Design Space.
Then, for those of you who do not have a cutting machine, I have a few new tips I came up with after finishing the stencil I started in the last video. Hopefully this will help make your paper stencils a little more durable for repeated use.
For those of you who do have a cutting machine, I'm using a Cricut Maker with Cricut Design Space but I hope the ideas and inspiration I share in these videos will translate to whatever cutting machine you're using. Today we'll continue using basic free shapes and learn how to use the "exclude" tool in addition to the other tools we've already explored to create our own new unique shapes. We'll also use the "hide" tool in layers and rename layers to help us create multiple designs from our new shape.

If you're also using the Samsill Craft Plastic and a Cricut Maker, I wanted to share the material settings I came up with after lots of trial and error. I have the cut pressure set at 325, number of passes set at 3X with a fine point blade. I found that with these settings and then click on "more" pressure when you choose your material makes a perfectly cut stencil. In this video I'll show you once again how to add your own custom material.
