For more than a decade, I've been using the humble makeup sponge (aka a cosmetic wedge sponge) to apply acrylic paint through a stencil. It's a tried and true method with beautiful results. It can be slow going. In this video I share exactly how I use the sponges, apply the paint, and even mix colors.
