There are guided tours to the Stella Artois Brewery in Leuven. The brewery is located on the outskirts of Leuven. There is a lot of walking about involved and not all areas are accessible, but the tours give an insight in the brewing process. It is not an artisanal process anymore, but looks a bit like any industrial plant. You have to pay 6 Euro to join, but can get a few beers in return at the end of the tour.
