CORRECTION: In this video we stated that the blade was 61-62 HRC but Guy double checked it and discovered that the blade in this video was actually a sample that is 63.5 HRC.
In this video we beat a Böhler K890 knife blank through some harder materials and learn more about just how awesome this grade of material is. The real punchline is the blank isn't even sharp, we just brute forced it through materials with a dead blow hammer. Yeah, let that sink in for a minute. K890 is a true super steel, by any definition.
NOTE: We do not recommend using any knife to cut through metal, this video is intended to demonstrate K890's mechanical properties.
