Well, this is unexpected. It turns out that third person quasi RTS games are actually quite exciting in virtual reality. Dustoff Heli Rescue is a kind of "RTS-ish" sidescroller hybrid that I can't quite find a category for; all I know is it suits VR very well despite this not being obvious from watching videos of the game. Dustoff 2 was run in the HTC VIVE using SteamVR and as of recording this, it has one problem starting up in VR on Steam and this video will show you how to fix it.
