After visiting the B&O Railroad Museum on July 4th, I made my way to Scranton the following day to visit another East Coast railroad museum that has been on my bucket list for a while, Steamtown National Historic Site!
Lucky for me, their currently only operating steam locomotive (Until the Shay and 3713's restorations are completed), Baldwin Locomotive Works No. 26, was out and about pulling the regular short train rides. In addition there are some shots inside the roundhouse included and some action on the Delaware-Lackawanna! Better still on the D-L, if you keep a good eye out, you'll see their own Semiquincentennial Unit, M-630 1776, sitting out in the yards!
Special thanks also to @trainmaster844 for lending his voice in a scene with Canadian National 3254, or as many Trainz fans may know as "Craig" from the San Juan Branchline series. Given what he talks about in that scene...
... I also want to mention that if you want to see any of Steamtown's restorations get done faster, don't forget to donate to the Iron Horse Society. They have volunteers and help raise funds for various Steamtown projects, link to their website is below:
