Get MSX and MSX2 emulation up and running on your SteamOS (e.g. Steam Deck et al) in just a few minutes using EmuDeck and EmulationStation Desktop Edition (ES-DE)! In this tutorial, we cover everything you need—from extracting BIOS files and adding starter games using the Helper Pack to configuring controls and testing out classic titles with RetroAchievements support.
Note: This is technically a reupload but the helper pack has been overhauled and the video audited for accuracy. It should work for all SteamOS devices including the Steam Machine and non-Valve SteamOS hardware. Please leave a comment if you have tried (success or failure) in the comments.
