The incredible sight of a TRIPLEHEADER. Nickel Plate Road 2-8-2 587 leads Norfolk & Western 4-8-4 611 and 2-6-6-4 1218 at Blue Ridge, VA. All three engines are deadheading to the 1989 NRHS Convention in Asheville, NC and making quite the show of it.
