Model railroading and large scale model railroad layouts need a lot of space. Therefore Pilentum’s friend Arnold, a model railroader living in The Hague, Netherlands, installed a 12.5 x 5.5 meter model railway layout in the attic of his house.
His miniature world in gauge 1 (1/32 scale) is dominated by magnificent steam locomotives and heavy diesel locomotives. Arnold loves running his model trains and playing with the digital functions of those modern model locomotives, which includes steam generators and sound decoders.
