A recent minor inconvenience that made me question why that is even possible prompted me to write in to Steam Support about it.
They provided me with a console command that supposedly disables random people sending my trade invites while I am playing MvM and flashing me with explicit imagery.
Very cool. But, maybe you should consider making this an option that you can enable and disable.
Since I was already talking to them I always questioned them on why I cant see any decals on items anymore. Whether its badges or objectors, cant see anything despite the option that would disable the decal display being turned off.
Of course they couldnt help me with that and only said that I have to wait for Valve to fix it in an update. That means I'll never see it fixed this decade.
