Mills visited:
CAI Luis Arcos Bergnes, standard gauge. This was one of the few remaining mills still using ox-carts to haul cut cane from the fields to the copio.
CAI Marcelo Salado, standard gauge. this mill always had very clean locos. It is now a museum of the sugar industry with some working steam locos.
CAI Ramon Ponciana, standard gauge
CAI Hermano Ameijeiras, 36" gauge. A three-foot gauge line using both steam and British made Brush diesel locos.
