Part 4 of 4 re-uploaded videos shot in China in 2009. Material not previously included has been added. The re-edited video has cleaned up audio, improved stability, better resolution and longer sequences.
This video starts at sunrise with a train of hydraulic tunnelling pit supports for the deep mine with a JS 2-8-2 at the front and another JS at the rear. The video contains another extended sequence of a pair of JS crossing the desert between the mine and the CNR exchange sidings. No excuse for the inclusion, never again will we be able to see such a spectacle.
next, a visit to the Sandaoling loco works where heavy overhauls on the mine's locomotives takes place.
The video finishes with a train of overburden heading for the Zibolizhan spoil tip at sunset.
I wish to give my special thanks to Bernd Seiler who is FarRail Tours for his skill, time and effort he puts in to make this and many other tours such a success. Thank You!
