This is a video of me steam bending the garboard plank on a 1958 19' Chris Craft Capri. I used the old garboard plank to build a jig out of (2) 2" x 8" x 8'. I steamed the 1/2" mahogany plank for about 50 minutes at 210 degrees. The plank bent into shape with no problem at all. It will now be much easier to fit the plank with most of the bend and twist in it.
