What’s up guys—today’s video is a wild one.
This is me literally stealing the SR20 out of my great-grandma’s old Datsun 510… and dropping it in our **current giveaway build**.
Originally, the plan was to bring our R33 Skyline giveaway car out to Connecticut, clean it up, and finish the restoration. But once we dug in, it turned into problem after problem—and we flat ran out of time. So, I pivoted.
We ended up at my buddy Tommy’s shop in CT with a freshly restored shell—only problem? No drivetrain. So I dug out the SR I swapped into my 510 over a decade ago and decided to rip it out.
What followed was a mix of sketchy Trevy’s Customs engineering, old swap flashbacks, and a full reality check when we tore into the SR… turns out it wasn’t in the best shape 😅
