The world changed after September 11, 2001, and so did the demands of those tasked with protecting it. Greg Thompson, a civilian with unmatched expertise, answered the call. Selected as a Federal Defensive Tactics and Air Marshal hand-to-hand instructor, Greg trained agents in Artesia, New Mexico, and special forces at Fort Bragg.
In 2010, Greg created SOCP® (Special Operations Combatives Program) — the first officially designated combatives program for all U.S. Army Special Operations Forces. Today, SOCP® is the standard for fighting in full combat body armor across all military branches and even some Federal Agencies. Using his expertise as a product designer, Greg created the SOCP® Dagger as the perfect compliment to his combatives system.
