"Disco Ball Drums"
Ken Jay’s disco ball drum kit was inspired by Evil Disco and Peter Criss’s kit from Kiss Alive.
It is a custom built DDRUM kit with a mirror ball covering.
The drum dimensions are standard, but the finish was made from mirror cut by hand into 1 inch by 1 inch cubes.
This is the first time Ken has ever used a wood snare as he typically prefers metal bodied snares. He attributes this to the added weight from the mirror giving the snare, and the kit overall more punch.
