From the Starz album Coliseum Rock, “Last Night I Wrote a Letter” is not only one of my favourite Starz songs, it’s one of my all time favourite songs.

As ever, I’m just playing my one guitar version of a song that I love and have done for years. I make no guarantee that this is what Richie and Bobby played on the original studio version. In fact I’m just jamming through the acoustic break, as I’m not at all sure what the picking is on the chords.

I left the guitar solos up to fine gentlemen in the band.

If you don’t know Starz, you should. One of the finest musical groups of the 1970’s.
