This is the story of John a who served with the 106th infantry division. Merely weeks into his service in the European theater, John would be swarmed by the leading elements of the German army in what was to become the Battle of the Bulge. Choosing not to leave his men behind after an ambush John was captured and became a Prisoner of War.
