New Pond Digging Project - Fixing My Mess - Part 2
Started digging the actual pond hole. Looks like I was wrong about the clay. Most part of the area is covered with a thin layer of clay under the top soil and then is 1m peat under these layers. One end was completely red clay mixed with sand and gravel. So at some point, it's very hard. The conditions are changing very quickly.
