So, today we are out and about walking in the market town of Fairford which is located in the Cotswold hills, Gloucestershire, England and is 4 miles (6.4 km) west of Lechlade, 9 miles (14 km) north of Swindon and 6 miles (9.7 km) east of Cirencester. As seen in the video the River Coln runs through Fairford. In 2011 the town had a population of just over 3,200.

The parish church is dedicated to Saint Mary. The church was rebuilt in around 1490.

Each summer the very popular International Air Tattoo is held at Fairford in which aircraft from all the globe takes part. The air show is usually held over three days.

Recently we have had quite a run of rain walks so this one makes for a bit of a contrast as the sky is clear and the sun is shining.
