Hey everybody it's Famous Car Week on YouTube! To celebrate, each day this week I'll be uploading the theme song and credits from a television show that featured a great car.
Here's the opening and closing credits and theme song from season 2 of the hit show "Starsky & Hutch" featuring the classic Ford Gran Torino! Show creator David Blinn originally wanted a Chevy Camaro but the production company had a contract with Ford at the time. Paul Michael Glaser (Starsky) hated the car at first sight describing it as a "striped tomato." Of course during filming several cars were used, all 1974-1976 Gran Torinos.
