Patch 1.06 decreased the tracking of Stars of Ruin significantly. According to @king_bore_haha on Twitter, the homing turn speed went from 360 to 45 degrees per second. The homing stop range went from 0.2 meters to 2.7 meters, and the velocity of some of the projectiles was also decreased. Overall, the spell is not nearly effective as it once was (especially in 1v1 situations). It can still present a problem when fighting multiple opponents at once (invasions).
