What happens on a fun day when you feel good, the bike feels good, the dirt is perfect, and you just don't want to stop riding, but you have an electric bike? You might get "rangexiety."
The Stark Varg EX handling characteristics are phenomenal and the experience is a hoot, but range is the ultimate Achilles Heel of the battery bike world - at least for now.
That brings us to an interesting point: Why aren't e-bike manufacturers creating easily swappable battery packs? Could it be safety and cost, or could it be that they expect battery life to improve so quickly that it becomes a moot point?
We don't have that answer, but we hope to see quick improvements in weight and storage density in the near future.
