The infantismal gazing up through grates
If only I could find a bright shining state
But this acursed cage confines my efforts to nil
A living breathing prison without walls: modern art
Shackled to the insecurities of an indecisive heart
Embarking from the occiput, a southern path I take
Through the curving mountains and past the sacral cave
Carving out a home from that which no longer needs to be
And rotting you out from the inside
With each skin I attain new life, but I can't
Wait for the next time, arousing the woebegone soliloquy
Distance is staggering, dissonance is sharpening
Chaotically dividing in a flash of blinding light
Denizen of my design that I alone made manifest
I become we
No longer forward, my gaze turns behind
Running not to recieve but to escape
The haunter has become the haunted, shadowed by toxicity

Footsteps approaching, the sound of my wake
Drawing towards my plane
Psyche unwinds
Tearing the echoes from that which I made
