Time to speed up again! To celebrate the release of Sonic Frontiers, I'm going to be working on Sonic music, starting with the US version of the Stardust Speedway's dark future. While playing Frontiers, I realized I wanted to try my hand at EDM, and what better spot to start than with Metal Sonic? I've always felt like this song gets ignored too much anyways. I decided I would try to remaster the mood, rather than the exact notes, which meant I could update it to be more of a modern style of song. Also, I couldn't figure out what the vocals were in the original, so I wrote a vocaloid part instead. I think it goes with the more modern synth heavy feel anyways.
