So if you've been wondering where I've been aside from the (mostly) daily MLP (they go up daily on instagram i just sometimes forget to send em up here too)
Uhhhh yeah no this is the answer.
This was my final for the animation class I've been taking this semester, the only animation class my college offers as far as I'm aware. So naturally I knew I had to take it. It's been an amazing class and I definitely learned A LOT that I'm so excited to use going forward.
For our final, we were supposed to do something that was both passion project and portfolio piece, and so I decided to tackle re-animating the opening cutscene of my favorite game. And since no animation is complete without sound, I asked some friends of mine if they'd be willing to do voices. They were, and so all that was left was finishing the animation.
Though I did end up taking some shortcuts (robin's blink in the one scene being the main onehhhjkashdfkjahsdf) and I didn't have enough time to add lipsync or as many frames for certain scenes as I wanted to, I'm still incredibly proud of how this turned out, and I'm so excited to see how my summer experimentation goes 💜
