BrianMp16 | Stardew Valley - $4,500,000/hour - Maximized Sweet Gem Berry Farm - Optimal Layout @BrianMp16 | Uploaded 7 years ago | Updated 14 minutes ago
In this video, I show one full year dedicated solely to growing, harvesting, replenishing, and selling Sweet Gem Berries in Stardew Valley. The purpose of this exercise is to determine the absolute fastest possible way to make money in this game, with all needed resources already established, and with no regard for the amount of in-game years that have passed.
The link below is the farm layout used in the video:

This layout maximizes the available farm space to provide the absolute highest number of diggable spots that is also self-watering and crow-free, so the maximum harvest can be achieved.
This farm took many in-game years to prep, including a number of less optimized sweet gem berry harvests to build up enough money to buy the Gold Clock/everything else and enough harvests to have 3,260 rare seeds ready to plant. During these years, I also accumulated iridium ore from the Statue of Perfection, and Battery Packs from the lightning rods to be able to craft all 150 iridium sprinklers.
One thing I forgot to mention in the video is you will most likely lose a few sweet gem berries from lightning, it doesn't amount to much loss, about 5 sweet gem berries on average. Even though lightning rods increase the odds of preventing lightning strikes on the farm, they aren't 100% effective and some lightning will strike your sweet gem berries, or even iridium sprinklers/scarecrows if you're really unlucky.
In the end, this exercise demonstrated the potential to earn ~$6,400,000 in one hour and 25 minutes over the course of exactly one Stardew Valley year, which equates to roughly $4,500,000/hour.
