A tribute to CaveDog Entertainment. It's a shame that they went so soon. They were about to release Bone Yards for Total Annihilation which was pretty much their version of battle.net which was a pretty big deal considering how rare online games were.

Total Annihilation in my opinion comes very close to beating Starcraft. For the time that game was released it was unheard of. Realistic physics, 3D modeled units, amazing soundtrack, brilliantly unique gameplay, and so much more. Total Annihilation is a masterpiece and still to this day has an active fan community on websites such as:
