Here's another complete broadcast of a syndicated repeat of the arcade video game series Starcade as transmitted over WTNH Channel 8 in New Haven / Hartford, CT, and hosted by Geoff Edwards.
In this edition of "TV's First Video Arcade Game Show" (designated S04E22, original air date given as January 25th 1984), the contestants are (for Team #1) Mark Lewis, 14, an eighth-grader at Bernal Junior Intermediate in San Jose who's into art and video games, and his father Paul Lewis, who runs a computer control service; and (for Team #2) Philip McKnight, 9, a Catholic school attendee into tropical fish and video games, and his father, Phil McKnight, a self-employed liquor store owner in San Francisco and a baseball and basketball coach at St. Vincent's Catholic School in Milbrae.
The games highlighted in this edition are Change Lanes, Track & Field, Pole Position II, Motorace USA, and TX-1, with the Grand Prize being the incredibly awesome Crystal Castles arcade video game.
