Lucasfilm is looking into Virtual Reality to present a new experience for Star Wars fans. Today it was revealed that Trials of Tatooine is a new game being worked on by the ILMxLAB unit of Lucasfilm. The goal is for them to test out and experiment with VR and Star Wars and see where they get. We might even see a full fledged Star Wars VR game in the future.
