Six months after the events that led to the Rebel Alliance's birth, Darth Vader has been experimenting with StarKiller's DNA, in hopes of creating a clone of the fallen apprentice. When it would appear that he succeed, the clone escapes and embarks on a journey to discover his true identity. Meanwhile, the war between the Galactic Empire and the Rebel Alliance still rages on.
