Star Wars Outlaws is a rather ambitious remixing of Ubisoft's open world design formula, buoyed in no small part by stunning visuals and world design, but dragged down by some truly out-dated core gameplay. It's only through some serious hustle that Outlaws manages to survive its many shortcomings to deliver a surprisingly affecting and memoranle finale. It's just a shame that so many people will have tapped out before reaching it.
