If you saw the Star Wars Outlaws Ubisoft Forward demo you’ll be pleased to know that it plays as well as it looks: the sense of scrambling panic as Kay Vess plunders relics and flees in her own ship, all seamlessly rendered as you travel from space to a planet’s surface. Star Wars Outlaws gameplay hasn’t shown off the full scope of the world yet, but these aren’t just scripted encounters you’re seeing - you are free to explore space and get into emergent trouble if you want. It’s everything we’ve wanted to see in a Star Wars game, basically.
