It's here! The MONTH OF KOTOR - Celebrating TEN years of KOTOR machinima movie making! What a launch we've had so far... our instagram page hit 20K followers, and our Revan teaser has nearly 13K views after just one week. While not viral, it's impressive nonetheless for a movie based on a videogame made back in 2003 :)
So to have some more fun - here's a new trailer for our SPECIAL EDITION of KOTOR Episode 1 - A Familiar Path - edited in the vein of the "Logan" trailer (the third Wolverine movie) - fitting because our hero's name is Logan as well :) Enjoy!
And yes... the effects are there to make it look like a classic old film reel :)
BREAKING NEWS: Kaydon Sentry Studios, the production company behind the popular series of KOTOR machinima movies, is teaming with Yceman Productions, who has a largely successful KOTOR2 Movie saga of their own, to create a brand new trilogy of films based on the popular Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic property. The new trilogy will take place before the aforementioned movies, showing the rise and fall of the great Jedi Revan - the protagonist in the first game. It will show the often-mentioned Mandalorian Wars, the alliance of Revan and Malak before they were enemies, the KOTOR 2 protagonist Meetra Surik in the height of her powers, as well as show the fall of these heroes and the Jedi Civil War. A whole new cast of characters will be featured, as well as a plethora of returning heroes and villains from the first 7 movies.
Thanks to Jenks for all his magic redoing Episode 1 - and JC for the CGI work ! And also thanks to the KOTOR team, and of course and thanks to all of the fans!
Our KOTOR movies are **not** made for money, it is a NON PROFIT project. It was made to introduce to a new audience, as well as its faithful, a fresh and cinematic take on this fascinating era.
