What if the original 1977 Star Wars film had stayed with the earlier logo seen on multiple promos and posters instead of changing it to the logo we know and love today? Here is my visualization of what the opening could've looked like.

I noticed that the original promotional Star Wars logo (you can see it here: upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/e/e7/Star_wars_1977_us.svg/2000px-Star_wars_1977_us.svg.png) was tilted in a way similar to how the iconic opening crawl looked in the films, so I chose to make the logo move in an identical direction with the opening crawl. However, having it move just like that would've been way too plain and uninteresting, so, just like the current Star Wars film opening sequence, I opted to have the logo zoom out straight first, then have it tilt backwards along the way before the opening crawl appears. I used Photoshop to alter the logo, so that's why it kind of looks slightly odd.

I also dropped the "Episode IV: A New Hope" at the beginning since this is about re-imagining the original 1977 opening crawl. A bit of gaussian blur was also added mainly to make the text seem more natural with the background and to make it look slightly more 70s-ish.

The original video was rendered at a 2.35:1 aspect ratio (2538x1080).

As you can see, this is just a "what-if" concept, and hence may not be perfect. However, I'd still like to hear your thoughts in the comments, maybe on how else could the original logo be incorporated into the opening crawl. Your input is gladly appreciated.
