Next time on Star Trek: Endurance
Following Commander Vah's court marshal for the disastrous events of Convoy SE-119, the Kongzi has been assigned to explore a new sector of the Shackleton Expanse which is filled with unusual numbers of ion storms. After weeks of cataloguing supernovae, neutron stars, stellar mass black holes, and uninhabited systems, they pick up a strange metallic object spinning slowly moving slower than light, and emitting a strange radiation that is similar to the types of ion storms that plague this sector. However, it does seem ton contain indistinct life signs, and since the ship's transporters are untrustworthy in this energy field, the crew will likely have to send over a shuttle craft to find out what's inside.
Once there, the crew discovers that the ship is far from empty. They'll have to deal with ghostly lights, dangerous organisms, and something moving in the shadows stalking them through the terrifying terrain in order to solve the mystery of the Forests of the Night!
